This is a so-called "Verre de Mariage" – an antique wedding glass traditionally used at the wedding feast to offer a toast, or given as a precious keepsake of the union.
The glass is mouth-blown with a beautiful, bell-shaped cup on a stem and is adorned with delicate, etched garlands around the waist – a classic symbol of celebration and eternal bonds. Its impressive size and elegant form make it a magnificent vase for a bouquet of roses, or as an atmospheric lantern with a small candle.
A glass that carries a hundred years of toasts, love, and celebration.
Note: As the glass is antique and handmade, irregularities and air bubbles occur in the glass, which testifies to its age and authenticity.
Condition: Good vintage condition
